Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatthew Witt is an electronics engineer and company director with eight years’ hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing industrial electronics to component level, and a First Class Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from AUT. He combines practical workshop skills—repairing AC/DC drives, HMIs, PLCs and switch-mode power supplies—with strong customer-facing experience honed in retail and field service roles. Since moving to the UK he has transitioned into R&D and software/IT support roles, reflecting a clear ambition to move into embedded systems design and software development. Matthew is comfortable working across mechanical, electrical and software boundaries, regularly collaborating with electricians, operators and business owners to deliver cost-effective, documented solutions. He’s known for lateral thinking under pressure, an eagerness to both teach and learn from colleagues, and a preference for doing work thoroughly rather than quickly. Based in Greater Leeds, he now combines running his own company with developer and R&D roles, positioning him to bridge practical repair expertise and product-focused engineering.
