Top SchoolMatthew York is a Solutions Engineer with 11+ years of experience helping enterprises bridge infrastructure, security, and automation gaps through pragmatic architecture and hands-on demos. He blends a strong background in systems administration, DevSecOps, and platform tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, OpenShift, JFrog) with presales expertise—translating customer challenges into demonstrable value. Comfortable from virtualization and cloud automation to IoT hardware hacking, he’s as likely to design an IaC pipeline as he is to pick up a soldering iron to prototype a sensor solution. An experienced speaker and educator, he runs workshops, hack days, and community sessions, and volunteers his skills to local charities to boost operational impact. Based in Bath, UK, Matthew’s practical curiosity shows in his DIY IoT projects and a candid GitHub note about repo sprawl, hinting at a prolific tinkerer who cleans up later.
