Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMatthieu Hodgkinson is a Senior Audio Developer with eight years of professional experience building real-time audio systems and production-grade editing tools. His background spans musicology, music technology and a PhD in computer science, blending deep domain knowledge with pragmatic C++ and TypeScript engineering honed across roles at GoTo and now Muse Group. He has made substantive open-source contributions to Audacity’s low-level time-and-pitch libraries and core editor performance, demonstrating expertise in audio processing, jitter handling, transport, and low-latency playout. Comfortable teaching and mentoring from his academic and tutoring past, he marries research-grade understanding with production delivery to enable compelling computer-assisted music workflows. Notably, his career is driven by a long-standing personal mission to build systems that let one musician produce epic rock ballads solo—so he looks for roles that both solve real product problems and advance that creative vision.
