Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMaurice Hendrix is a Medior Scientist Integrator at TNO with 11 years of software engineering and research-focused experience spanning academia and industry. He blends a PhD-level background in computer science with hands-on development dating back to hobbyist coding in 1982, and has applied that mix to roles from senior research software engineer at the University of Nottingham to lecturing and leading EU-funded projects in serious games. Maurice contributes to open-source tooling for constrained platforms — notably improving a minimalist Raspbian netinstaller with hardware RNG support — and has a track record in web and bioinformatics projects from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. Based in The Hague, he is comfortable bridging research, teaching, and production engineering, turning academic insight into reliable, reproducible software.
