Top SchoolMauricio Rojas is a Principal Architect in AI/ML with 11 years of engineering experience, currently helping organizations unlock Snowflake and Snowpark for data engineering and ML workloads. With an MSc in Computer Science and a background spanning compiler research, migration tooling and machine learning, he blends deep systems-level knowledge (C++, Java, C#) with modern data cloud practices. He has driven modernization projects and reference architectures at Mobilize.Net and now shapes AI/ML solutions at Snowflake, translating legacy pipelines into scalable, cloud-native data platforms. Known for a practical love of algorithms and continuous learning, he pairs academic breadth—teaching algorithms at Tecnológico de Costa Rica—with hands-on delivery across data engineering, Spark, and SnowPark. An engineer who admits he’s “not the smartest in the room,” he compensates with persistence, craftsmanship and a track record of turning complex migration and ML concepts into production-ready systems.
