Top SchoolMauricio Zaquia is a Principal Software Engineer based in Amsterdam with 11+ years of experience designing and scaling mobile products and engineering teams, particularly in iOS and product engineering. He has led cross-functional teams at companies like Booking.com and Noom, building platform-level systems—such as a multi-platform design system and iOS experimentation framework—that empowered hundreds of teams and measurably improved developer velocity and acquisition metrics. As a hands-on technical leader and consultant, he advises startups on resourcing, processes and product strategy while still shipping libraries and tools that boost developer experience. Fluent in English, Portuguese and French, he combines international mentorship experience (co-managing an Apple Developer Academy program) with a pragmatic focus on measurable business outcomes. An understated strength is his track record of turning architectural efforts into company-wide capabilities that scale both product experimentation and onboarding.
