Senior🎓
Top SchoolMaurits Silvis is a full-stack developer with 8 years of experience who combines a PhD-level background in computational science and fluid dynamics with practical expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, NestJS, Angular, React and test automation. He has transitioned research-grade numerical modeling and HPC experience into production software, building test frameworks, end-to-end automation and single-page applications while mentoring teams and shaping agile processes. At d.velop mobile services he contributes across backend and frontend stacks and continues to apply strong testing discipline from his prior roles at beQualified, where he designed plugin systems and loosened coupling with robust patterns. Comfortable with both Java and modern Node ecosystems, he brings a rare mix of scientific rigor, production-quality engineering and hands-on automation—often spotting and fixing issues in dependencies and tooling before they reach users. Based in Steinfurt, Germany, he blends meticulousness from academia with pragmatic software delivery and a knack for improving developer workflows.
