Top SchoolMaurizio Battaghini is a Software Development Senior Specialist based in Rome with 11 years of hands-on experience building front-end-first web applications and UX-driven interfaces. He blends deep expertise in modern HTML/CSS/JavaScript (ES6+), frameworks like React and Vue, and pragmatic back-end skills with Node/Express and databases including MySQL, MongoDB and Firebase. Comfortable across the stack, he applies disciplined engineering principles (KISS, SOLID, Clean Code) and modern toolchains—Webpack, Babel, TypeScript (WIP), Docker/Kubernetes (WIP)—to deliver maintainable, testable code. His background spans product-focused roles at Docsity and Sisal after early front-end work at Jobrapido and agencies, giving him both startup agility and enterprise experience. A self-described “professional swimmer, nerd, gamer & web developer,” he brings curiosity and creativity to problem solving—having famously implemented “hello world” in 200 different ways. Fluent in UI/UX tools like Figma and Sketch, he bridges design intent and production realities to ship polished user experiences.
