Top SchoolMax Degterev is an experienced engineering leader and interim CTO based in Berlin, with over a decade building web and e-commerce products across European startups and media sites. He blends hands-on engineering and technical strategy—having led front-end teams at nebenan.de, co-founded a digitization startup, and worked as a fractional CTO and consultant—so he’s comfortable shipping features and shaping technology roadmaps. His background spans consumer-facing platforms, custom e-commerce, and booking systems, giving him a practical sense for product-market fit and operational reliability. Pragmatic and startup-minded, he’s known for taking messy software problems and turning them into maintainable, customer-facing solutions.
