Top SchoolMax Desplanches is a seasoned Node.js and TypeScript back-end developer with 11 years in the industry and over eight years focused on NodeJS/TypeScript production systems. Based in Paris, he blends hands-on engineering with product leadership—founding DocteurQuiz, an AI-driven multilingual EdTech SaaS, while leading backend teams and architecture at companies like Vestiaire Collective, Beamy and FASST. He has deep experience building scalable APIs and data pipelines with NestJS, PostgreSQL and Docker, and has delivered projects ranging from SaaS governance to AR/VR and video encoding. Max is comfortable switching between individual contributor work and technical lead responsibilities, with a track record of shipping proofs-of-concept into production. He also brings cross-domain curiosity from prior roles in video innovation and Unity/AR, which informs pragmatic, user-focused platform design. Open to strategic partnerships, he focuses now on applying AI to improve assessment and learning experiences.
