SeniorMax Kharena is a fintech-focused software leader with nearly a decade of experience designing and scaling high-throughput financial systems, most recently leading UI integration for a Treasury Management System that processes over 1M transactions monthly across 150+ currencies. He combines hands-on JavaScript/TypeScript engineering with architecture and product thinking—building double-entry ledgers, automated settlement pipelines, and fault-tolerant reconciliation flows while running teams and mentoring developers. As a former Tech Lead who scaled teams and improved performance by up to 70%, he emphasizes engineering excellence, CI/CD, and observable, auditable systems. Passionate about the intersection of finance and AI, he experiments with model training and AI-driven workflow optimization to make financial operations more efficient and reliable. Based in Barcelona, he remains active in the developer community through mentoring at nodeschool and kottans, blending practical delivery with continuous learning.
