Top SchoolMax Sokolov is a Senior Software Engineer with 12 years of experience, specializing in iOS development (8 years) and web/back-end work (3+ years), currently building at Apple in the New York City area. He has led small engineering teams and engineering groups, shipped greenfield and maintained large-scale mobile products serving up to 35M MAU, and has deep fluency in Swift and Objective-C and a sharp eye for UX detail — “every pixel counts.” His background spans consumer apps like messengers, photo/video editors, location-aware services, and financial systems (UBS), plus hands-on experience deploying Web/REST APIs on AWS and GCP. A former co-founder with an MS in Computer Science (Information Security), he blends product-minded engineering with operational experience across startup and enterprise environments. Not obviously: he balances low-level Apple platform expertise with practical cloud API deployment, enabling tight end-to-end mobile experiences.
