Top SchoolMax Stahl is an engineering generalist with 14 years of experience building microservice architectures, web APIs, and delightful hardware-software products across startups and acquired companies. Based in Oakland, he blends hands-on systems and backend work with creative hardware projects—everything from custom 3D printers and Internet-of-Things devices to electronics musical instruments and gardening automation. He has led architectural initiatives (CRM, containerization, integration services), mentored engineers, and contributed to mobile and Python backends at scale, surviving multiple acquisitions and an IPO. Max now runs Eighty-Eight Hustles, shipping indie games and inventive IoT creations that reflect a rare mix of pragmatic engineering and playful maker instincts.
