Summary
👤
SeniorMaxim Chechulnikov is a senior software developer and engineering leader with over a decade of experience building and guiding teams across backend and language-focused projects. He has held progressive technical and leadership roles at JetBrains and Tinkoff Bank, combining hands-on development in Kotlin, .NET, Go, Elm and Haskell with architecture and team leadership. Based in Munich, he repeatedly moves between individual contributor and management roles, demonstrating an ability to switch from deep technical problem-solving to scaling teams and delivery. His background in mathematics and computer science underpins a pragmatic, language-agnostic approach to designing reliable systems and APIs. Colleagues would describe him as a polyglot engineer who prefers expressive languages and clean architectures, often applying functional programming ideas in production systems.
