Top SchoolMaxim Nesen is a Prague-based software engineer and entrepreneur with roughly nine years of formal industry experience and a much longer history running his own firm, Nesenix s.r.o., which he founded in 2004. He has strong hands-on Java/J2EE expertise from senior roles at Oracle and major European banks, building and maintaining core banking systems and enterprise applications. As CEO and principal engineer he blends product ownership with deep implementation skills, routinely wearing "many other possible roles" across projects. His background spans backend systems, integrations, and legacy-to-modern migrations—work informed by early full-stack and support roles that cultivated pragmatic problem-solving. Though primarily focused on enterprise Java, his longevity running a private company suggests strengths in client-facing delivery, technical leadership, and sustained project stewardship. Based in Czechia, he pairs academic grounding from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with long-term practical experience delivering mission-critical financial software.
