Top SchoolMaximilian Schellhorn is a Principal Solutions Architect at AWS based in Innsbruck, bringing over a decade of hands-on software engineering and architecture experience focused on distributed systems and monolith-to-microservice transformations. He progressed through technical and customer-facing roles at AWS after hands-on senior engineering positions at Zalando and Ada Health, where he helped break an app backend serving millions into microservices. His background spans designing scalable web and data systems for finance, retail and talent-matching platforms, with strong grounding in Java/Spring and cloud-native patterns. Known for translating complex legacy architectures into operational, service-oriented platforms, he blends deep technical craft with pragmatic delivery for large-scale migrations.
