Top SchoolMaximilian Weiss is a software engineer specializing in Kubernetes security and hybrid cloud solutions, currently building Azure Local features at Microsoft using Go and cloud-native tooling. With a decade of experience across DevOps, container security (CKS/CKA), and blockchain — including MEV searcher work, Solidity smart contract auditing, and cryptocurrency trading — he blends systems-level security with applied blockchain expertise. He has hands-on experience delivering operator-grade network cloud infrastructure for large vendors (Azure, AT&T) and running self-hosted developer services mirrored on his Forgejo instance. Maximilian’s background in poker and risk analysis informs a data-driven approach to threat modeling and operational decision-making. Pursuing an MS in Cybersecurity Engineering, he pairs formal study with practical skills in multi-architecture containers, Kata/gVisor, CI/CD, and automation. Located in Las Vegas, he maintains independent contact channels (Keybase and Namecoin) underscoring a strong privacy- and self-hosting-oriented mindset.
