Summary
🤩
RockstarMaxine Aubrey is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer based in Berlin with 8 years of experience building and operating large-scale cloud platforms. At Sketch she led GitOps adoption, modernized an ECS platform for isolated developer environments, and migrated macOS fleets to AWS M1 with automated image provisioning—efforts that improved developer productivity and reduced maintenance overhead. She excels in cross-functional collaboration, building internal tooling that lets teams manage deployment lifecycles from test to production, and promoting stronger CI/CD and testing practices. A pragmatic open-source contributor, she enhanced the community.aws Ansible collection by adding robust AWS profile support to the aws_ssm connection plugin. She prefers environments that balance synchronous and asynchronous communication and treats remote work as a deliberate, productive mode rather than a pandemic artifact.
