Senior🎓
Top SchoolMaxwell Cofie is an engineering manager and founder with nine years of software experience building products across Africa and a track record of launching six ventures spanning fintech, legal-tech, events, and proptech. He leads engineering at Hubtel while also founding The Good Seed Capital, an early-stage syndicate aimed at funneling patient, conviction-driven capital to validated African startups. Maxwell combines hands-on frontend and UX development skills with community-building—running Sandbox Réseau in Accra and hosting The Reverb podcast to surface tactical founder intelligence. His background in mathematics and computer science, plus recent management training at Harvard Business School Online, informs a founder-first approach to sourcing and supporting pre-seed founders. Less obvious: he pairs product-level empathy with investor-side discipline, building screening frameworks that prioritize real demand over projections.
