Summary
👤
SeniorMayank Chutani is a Principal Engineer based in Austin with a decade of experience building AI-native, cloud-first platforms from pre-seed to Series A. He specializes in the zero-to-one phase—owning end-to-end systems design, production runtime safeguards, evaluation engines, and agent infrastructure that make AI systems observable, accountable, and safe. At Trustwise he architected the core Kubernetes-based platform, shipping evaluation metrics, an AI gateway for live LLM traffic protection, and developer-facing SDKs and CLI tooling. His background includes nearly a decade at CognitiveScale where he led AI platform and ethical model-scanning efforts, and later brought LLMOps into enterprise MLOps at Tecnotree. Comfortable leading technically while remaining hands-on across Python, Go, TypeScript, and distributed infra, he’s most valuable when problems are ambiguous and stakes are high. He’s quietly practical—often building internal AI assistants and developer tools that accelerate team velocity as much as customer-facing features.
