Senior🎓
Top SchoolMayank Raj is a Staff Engineer at Stripe with nine years of experience solving hard distributed systems and cloud-scale problems while removing engineering friction to boost velocity. He previously led founding engineering efforts for Cloud Security (HSM) at Salesforce India, driving multi-million dollar cost-to-serve efficiencies and production-hardened security services. Mayank has built graph database engines at billion-node scale, architected Big Data platforms designed to stay up under load, and founded SaaS monitoring product Apptale, so he combines deep systems design with product intuition. Holder of AWS Solutions Architect Professional and CKA certifications, his real expertise comes from repeatedly extinguishing production fires and creating paved paths teams actually use. He mentors and leads cross-functional teams of 15+, prefers pragmatic designs that trade elegance for operability, and is as comfortable bootstrapping startups as he is shaping large orgs. Outside work he treks mountains, flies autonomous drones, and plays the violin—pursuits that mirror his taste for complex, disciplined challenges.
