Summary
🤩
RockstarMaysam Mokarian is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer based in Vancouver with a decade-long software background and four years focused on ML at Microsoft, where he designs and ships production-grade AI solutions. He blends cloud-native engineering (Azure, AWS, Terraform) with hands-on ML work—prompt engineering, embeddings with OpenAI and open-source LLMs, LangChain, and Azure Cognitive Search—to turn prototypes into scalable features like Glint Copilot. Comfortable across the stack, he has driven search and speech experiments, architected MLOps pipelines, and improved Azure CLI extensions for communication services. A multidisciplinary engineer and former test-lead, he brings rigorous experimentation, CI/CD discipline, and pragmatic product instincts to tight delivery cycles. He also holds specialized ML training from Mila/Université de Montréal and a software engineering master’s from Concordia, reflecting a blend of research-informed practice and enterprise delivery.
