Top SchoolMayur Kadam is a data engineer with 8+ years of experience building scalable big-data and cloud-native ETL pipelines, currently driving data engineering at Meta from Libertyville, Illinois. He combines deep hands-on expertise in Spark/PySpark, Hadoop ecosystem tools, Ab Initio/Talend, and traditional RDBMS (Oracle, Teradata, MySQL) with practical AWS cloud solutions and BI tooling like Tableau and Dremio. At TransUnion and prior roles he led architecture, data quality, and automation efforts for high-volume ingestion and analytics, mentoring teams and owning end-to-end delivery under Agile/SAFe. Known for evaluating and benchmarking platforms to align tooling with business strategy, he also brings DBA-level SQL/PLSQL proficiency and operational experience with Merced Performance Suite. Outside work he signals a strong value for autonomy—“always looking for freedom”—which complements his track record of creating reliable, auditable data platforms that enable faster data consumption.
