Top SchoolMckenna Barlow is a product manager with 8 years of experience building AI-driven developer tooling at Microsoft, focused on .NET modernization, Visual Studio, and Azure migration. She led the end-to-end delivery of GitHub Copilot Upgrade for .NET—Microsoft’s first agentic, IDE-native AI upgrade flow—and steers the .NET Upgrade Assistant used by tens of thousands of developers. Mckenna blends technical fluency (origins in CS and hands-on internships) with product rigor to simplify complex modernization and migration journeys for enterprise customers. She owns core .NET project system experiences in Visual Studio, shaping how millions of developers build and run apps, while pioneering agentic upgrade experiences that minimize manual developer intervention. Based in New York, she pairs a pragmatic focus on adoption with a strong emphasis on responsible, inclusive design. A background in full-stack student projects and hackathon planning highlights her long-standing pattern of shipping usable tools and rallying cross-functional teams.
