Summary
🎓
Top SchoolMckynlee Westman is a Senior Software Engineer with five years of hands-on front-end and full-stack experience, currently building Vue and TypeScript applications at Smart Warehousing. She has a strong React/Next.js background from roles at Mythical Games and mobile React Native experience integrating third‑party SDKs and CI/CD pipelines. Fluent in English, Italian and Spanish (conversational German), she uniquely combines technical delivery with cross-cultural vendor negotiations and operations leadership from years managing Backroads’ Italy business. A pragmatic problem-solver, she has replaced complex client state with React Query, implemented feature-flagging and automated deployments, and helped launch a public-facing product in a month as part of a four-person strike team. Her early career in program management and recruiting gives her uncommon strengths in communication, hiring and training engineering teams. Based in Kansas City, she brings travel-born curiosity and operational rigor to building customer-focused web and mobile experiences.
