Top SchoolMehdi Mehraban is a pragmatic software engineer and entrepreneur with nine years of experience building web applications and data-driven services, currently co-founding an AI-powered health assistant in Tehran. He specializes in Python backend development and has shipped production systems across social listening, market intelligence, fintech trading, and utility monitoring, often focusing on cost-efficient data collection and real-time pipelines. Past roles show a pattern of solving integration challenges—removing external API dependencies, designing crawler architectures, and optimizing resource usage—while working with Kafka, Docker, Celery, and FastAPI/Django stacks. At Tosan Ofogh he bridged trading systems and APIs, and at Metodata and Dataak he delivered smarter ingestion and analysis features that improved performance and observability. Mehdi pairs an MS in Artificial Intelligence with hands-on engineering discipline, bringing both algorithmic insight and practical system design to early-stage products. He favors well-structured, maintainable solutions that turn complex data into actionable, user-focused experiences.
