Senior🎓
Top SchoolMehdi Saffar is a seasoned Software Development Engineer with 10 years of full-stack experience across startups and product teams, currently at AWS. He specializes in pragmatic engineering: shipping GPT-4 chatbots that cut support workload by 40%, optimizing CI and ETL pipelines, and hardening routing and geospatial systems for bike-friendly navigation. Comfortable across JS, Python, C++, Postgres/PostGIS and cloud tooling, he excels at squeezing performance from legacy code and simplifying infrastructure with Terraform and automated CI. A Boğaziçi University graduate and former competitive programming student, he pairs deep technical rigor with a knack for mentoring and rapid incident resolution. Notably, he has a track record of accelerating test suites 4–22x and consolidating multi-database systems without downtime, showing a bias for measurable impact.
