Senior🎓
Top SchoolMehrdad Shobeiri is a seasoned C/C++ developer with nine years of professional experience and a lifelong passion for systems, embedded Linux, and high-performance computing. He has built and optimized real-world embedded and desktop systems—from video surveillance and machine-vision solutions to video transcoding and streaming products—and now contributes to C++ projects at ABN AMRO while leading embedded application work at Video Optime. Comfortable across low-latency backends, distributed microservices, cryptography and finance domains, he also programs in modern C++20 and Go and advocates engineering best practices. Mehrdad mentors junior engineers, brings a pragmatic cross-platform mindset, and repeatedly turns proof-of-concept vision into production-grade, performance-tuned software. A hands-on tinkerer since building FlashMX ActionScript as a teen, he pairs deep systems know-how with a steady drive to learn and apply new technologies.
