Senior🎓
Top SchoolMel Arre is a Senior User Experience Designer with 11 years of experience blending product design, project management, and frontend engineering to build user-centered web and app experiences. They've led design systems and end-to-end product work at companies from LinkedIn and Zulily to Rad Power Bikes and early-stage startups, and have hands-on experience shipping code and maintaining marketing sites in Webflow. Mel’s strengths include designing complex e-commerce flows and two-sided marketplaces, running user studies to validate assumptions, and translating designs into production-ready specs and components. Based in Vancouver, WA, they pair a Computer Science degree with a practical, cross-functional approach—often stepping into engineering or PM roles to move work forward—and have a knack for turning ambiguous problems into polished, measurable user outcomes.
