Senior🎓
Top SchoolMelanie B is a mathematically grounded software engineer with 10 years of experience focusing on web development, database administration, and domain modeling, now supervising front-end operations in Ottawa. She brings deep Haskell expertise—having served on the Haskell Core Libraries Committee and authored production Haskell tooling that replaced legacy .NET systems—so she pairs functional-programming rigor with pragmatic, user-facing solutions. At MasterWord she built KPI tracking, dashboards, a Haskell–SQL interface library, and standardized ERP widgets, enabling data-driven decisions and fewer bugs across teams. Comfortable bridging technical and customer-facing roles (from cashier to front-end supervisor), she excels at translating complex backend invariants into simple, reliable web experiences. Expect a detail-oriented engineer who values correctness and developer ergonomics as much as practical impact.
