Top SchoolMelissa Kendall is a Technical Lead at Google with 11 years of experience bridging software development, API design, and developer-focused documentation. She began as a software developer and evolved into roles that blend technical writing, business analysis, and engineering—shipping integrations, developer portals, and automation that reduce friction for both internal teams and external developers. At Google she led documentation and launch efforts for GKE networking and cost optimization, maintained strict SLOs, and piloted cross-project migrations that uncovered and resolved ambiguous processes. Skilled in C#, Node.js, JavaScript, SQL, and web toolchains, she pairs hands-on coding with a passion for Developer Experience and mentoring. An offbeat detail: she’s also a published novelist in adult paranormal and historical romance, bringing narrative craft to technical communication.
