Top SchoolMelvin Valster is an engineering manager based in Stockholm with 11 years of hands-on experience building delightful user experiences and shipping full-stack web and mobile products. Currently leading engineering and product efforts at Soundtrack, he has grown through roles from frontend developer to product owner and technical lead, blending React/React Native frontends with Node/TypeScript backends and integrations like Sonos. A repeat founder and early-stage builder (Pley, Weedfrog, Lume Arts), he brings strong product sensibility and an operator’s mindset to technical decision-making. Trained in computer software engineering and graphic design, Melvin pairs design-aware UX thinking with pragmatic engineering, often leaning into automation and tooling to streamline delivery. Quietly curious, he has a background in mindfulness practice (Vipassana), which informs his collaborative leadership and focus on sustainable team practices.
