Top SchoolMeng-pei Lee is a Staff Software Engineer with 10 years of experience building full-stack, cloud-native systems that reliably handle millions of daily requests. Based in Mountain View, he combines deep expertise in distributed systems, Kubernetes, Kafka and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) with practical ML platform engineering—having supported 80+ models and implemented LLM agent platforms using RAG to cut latency and reduce hallucinations. He’s fluent across JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, and has shipped production React/React Native frontends alongside high-throughput backends and data pipelines. At Tesla he progressed rapidly from Software Engineer to Staff, demonstrating an ability to scale both systems and teams across product domains. His background in MS programs from Fu Jen and Carnegie Mellon underpins a pragmatic, research-informed approach to solving hard reliability and latency challenges.
