Top SchoolMercy Ikami is a Senior Mobile Engineer based in Nairobi with 9+ years building cross-platform mobile solutions across Android and Flutter. She has led end-to-end projects at startups and scale-ups—rewriting marketplace and logistics apps, building payment libraries, and integrating mobile money and bank payments for production systems. Mercy combines hands-on native Android expertise (Java/Kotlin and JNI/C++) with Flutter for rapid cross-platform delivery, and she frequently mentors junior engineers. Her experience spans health, logistics, and fintech domains, including IoT tracking and secure AV conferencing integrations. Currently at Mukuru and mentoring at Tech4Dev, she brings a pragmatic blend of UI/UX sensibility, CI/CD automation, and team leadership. An Egerton University computer science graduate, she pairs deep implementation skills with a track record of shipping reliable, payment-enabled mobile products in emerging-market contexts.
