Summary
👤
SeniorMetehan Toksoy is an engineering manager with 11 years of experience building and scaling mobile-first teams and complex Android products, now based in Tallinn. He has a strong track record at Bolt—founding the Rides Safety domain, transitioning teams during reorganizations, and driving cross-disciplinary initiatives that combine product, data science and engineering. A hands-on leader, he has shipped 25+ major features, led architecture migrations (MVP→MVVM), and automated CI/CD and testing practices to cut release friction and improve quality. At Malwarebytes and earlier roles he optimized performance (40% faster deep scans), created device-farm testing infrastructure, and modularized apps to enable B2B offerings. He favors pragmatic, feedback-driven management, pushes adoption of AI-assisted tooling to reduce busywork, and intentionally balances user experience with delivery velocity. Outside core engineering he contributes open-source Android utilities and brings a broad perspective from varied interests that inform product thinking.
