Top SchoolMicah Rich is a founding designer and engineering leader with 17 years of experience building production-grade web applications and educational platforms that scale. He blends design, front-end engineering (React, Next.js, TypeScript) and curriculum engineering to ship mission-critical systems—from real-time emergency tools at Citizen to a global web development immersive at General Assembly. As founder of The League of Moveable Type he grew an open-source typography foundry into a 50k+ newsletter audience and a decade-long Next.js production site, while pioneering MDX-driven authoring and git-based workflows for curriculum and content. Micah excels at turning complex technical problems into clear, usable interfaces and learning experiences, and he often acts as the single developer-designer bridge on 0-to-1 product launches. Currently based in Philadelphia, he’s exploring AI integration in web apps and the future of design engineering.
