Top SchoolMichael Armes is a veteran event operations and production leader with 20+ years turning complex live and tentpole experiences into repeatable, data-driven programs for tech industry leaders. As a founder and former Meta global events manager and hardware program lead, he built departments, playbooks, and KPIs from scratch, improving operational efficiency by 115% and managing $3M+ budgets for audiences of 35,000+. He specializes in stabilizing broken operations—creating transparency, measurable workflows, and staff development that scale across global markets. Notably, he launched Meta’s first Event Tiering model and a Tableau pipeline that brought real-time inventory visibility to a previously opaque program. Based in the Bay Area, he now consults on large-scale activations (Nvidia GTC) and embeds with internal teams to leave durable systems and leaders behind.
