Top SchoolMichael Aubrey is an experienced architect and engineering manager based in Akita with 10 years in software and a background spanning education, nonprofit IT, and commercial web development. He builds full-stack solutions using React, PHP, C#, and ASP.NET Core, and advocates cloud-native and serverless patterns while leading cross-functional teams at Maki. A self-taught programmer since childhood who later formalized skills with Free Code Camp, he pairs practical coding depth with people-first leadership—creating continuing-education programs that boosted team learning at a previous employer. His career path from classroom teacher and ALT to technical lead gives him an uncommon talent for clear communication, mentoring, and designing user-centered systems. Passionate about meaningful work, he focuses on pragmatic innovation that balances maintainability with real client impact.
