Top SchoolMichael Barbine is an Information Technology Executive with 11 years of hands-on experience blending software development, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity across startups and enterprise environments. He has led technical teams and pre-sales architecture work at organizations including CDW, Rapid7, and Mandiant, and co-founded a venture that was acquired by FoxIO, demonstrating both product and go-to-market acumen. Known as a servant leader, he builds secure, scalable systems and operational practices that bridge engineering, managed services, and customer-facing solutions. His background spans founding community initiatives like DevOpsDays D.C., advising on open source, and managing MDR engineering programs—roles that reflect strength in technical leadership and community building. Based in Hong Kong with U.S. roots, he pairs a BBA and MIS-focused associate coursework with deep infrastructure and cybersecurity expertise. Less obvious: he combines enterprise architecture and pre-sales credibility with startup founder instincts, making him effective at translating technical strategy into measurable business outcomes.
