Top SchoolMichael Borohovski is a founder and CEO with 14 years of engineering and startup leadership experience, currently building Kobo Foundry to bring better tooling to clinical research from his base in Cupertino. He founded and scaled Tinfoil Security into an acquisition by Synopsys, then led architecture and API security efforts across multiple products, combining deep technical craft with product-led growth. Equally comfortable in code and boardrooms, he has angel and early-stage investing experience through Zelda Ventures, Acquired Wisdom Fund, and direct syndication into companies like Stytch. His background spans offensive security for government clients, core build systems at Apple, and hands-on founder duties—recruiting elite teams and shipping automated developer-first security workflows. Known for integrating security into developer workflows rather than as an afterthought, he focuses on pragmatic, highly automatable solutions that scale across the SDLC.
