Top SchoolMichael Brandenburg is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years building cloud-native infrastructure and containerized platforms, currently shaping compute services at Joyent. He brings deep hands-on experience from backend roles at GPS Insight and earlier systems work at U-Haul, blending production-first engineering with orchestration and platform operations. Known as a "Cloud Carpenter & Container Shepherd," he focuses on reliable, scalable compute and deployment pipelines rather than flashy front-end work. Based in Goodyear, AZ, he pairs a B.S. in Applied Computer Science from ASU with a steady track record of moving teams from ad-hoc systems to repeatable, container-driven delivery. An engineer who prefers crafting durable infrastructure, he quietly champions practical automation that reduces toil across the stack.
