Top SchoolMichael Brown is an AI software engineer based in Boulder with 12 years of experience building data-driven systems and cloud-native backends. He has shipped large-scale ingestion pipelines and vector-search databases, processing 250M+ records using Kafka, microservices, and OCR to fuel AI applications. At Stateless he helped design cross-cloud, highly available networking and IaC-driven onboarding for SaaS marketplaces, and now applies that systems-first lens to AI product engineering at My Town AI. Comfortable across firmware, backend APIs, and containerized ML environments, he automates delivery with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI. An advocate for open science and shared data, he blends production engineering with a researcher’s attention to reproducibility. Outside of production work he’s taught coding to kids and tutored CS students, signaling a knack for translating complex ideas to diverse audiences.
