Top SchoolMichael Cata is a strategic product leader with a decade of experience translating data and policy into international growth for marketplace platforms, currently directing International Strategy at Etsy from Cincinnati. He blends management consulting rigor, product management practice, and hands-on coding—comfortable with R and analytical tooling—to drive insights-led expansion and post-merger integration. His background spans founding a boutique strategy firm, government digital product work at 18F, and analytics roles at major media and financial firms, giving him a rare mix of public-sector product discipline and private-sector scale execution. Known for turning ambiguous cross-functional problems into measurable strategy and product roadmaps, he frequently bridges stakeholders across markets, operations, and engineering.
