Michael Cizmar
Summary
👤
SeniorMichael Cizmar is a Principal Digital Architect and founder with 13+ years of deep experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale search and AI systems across Fortune 500, public sector, and regulated environments. He has built and run a seven-figure consultancy (MC+A) and a nearshore Center of Excellence in Chile, closing complex deals and staying hands-on writing production code for RAG pipelines, vector search, LLM orchestration, and document intelligence. Trusted by vendors and clients alike, he’s been a strategic partner to Google, Lucidworks, Elastic, Coveo, and Algolia and recognized as Google Innovation Partner of the Year and Lucidworks Partner of the Year. At Caterpillar he now translates massive B2B commerce data into production-grade AI search and personalization that drives parts discovery and dealer enablement. Equally comfortable in sales rooms and in the codebase, he combines P&L ownership with technical depth across Python, Java/Node, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, cloud platforms, and vector/LLM tooling. A practical innovator, he repeatedly ships systems that “didn’t exist” before—turning competitive wins into operational platforms.
