Top SchoolMichael Cordell is an executive engineering leader with 13 years of experience scaling healthcare technology and turning services businesses into product- and data-driven organizations. As VP of Engineering at Q-Centrix he grew engineering from a small web team into a 55-person, multi-discipline organization, helped double company revenue to $110M, and launched data, NLP, and registry-quality reporting products that became a major revenue line. He combines hands-on architecture and product delivery—authoring a greenfield application that led to a pending patent—with operational rigor, instituting incident playbooks, career ladders, and standardized SDLC. Michael’s background spans clinical research, EMR migrations, and data-heavy roles (including fMRI programming), which gives him uncommon fluency in both medical workflows and production-grade software. Based in San Diego, he’s experienced in M&A diligence and integrations, and maintains a strong record of employee engagement and high-performance culture.
