Top SchoolMichael Cu is a Lead Developer in Seattle with 11 years of full-stack experience building web and mobile apps using React, Node/Express, Ruby on Rails, and a wide range of SQL and NoSQL datastores. He combines hands-on engineering—shipping front ends with Webpack, React and jQuery and back ends on Node/Play—with team-level improvements like standardized Kanban, Slack and Git workflows and developer training. He has launched production apps for events, e-commerce, and photo services, and manages deployments across Heroku, IBM Bluemix and AWS. An operator as well as a builder, he runs a curated vintage-watch business and has owned CTO responsibilities for a lifestyle e-commerce brand, showing an entrepreneurial streak beyond code. Notably, he often takes over and refactors existing projects to improve maintainability and delivery speed.
