Top SchoolMichael De Souza is a Senior Software Engineer based in Berlin with 10 years of full-stack experience building and scaling web platforms across startups and fast-growing businesses. He has led complex migrations and new-project ownerships—driving a B2B scale-up at Grover and architecting serverless, TypeScript, and Prisma-based systems at Zizoo—while championing test-driven development and improving team practices. Comfortable across back-end APIs, microservices, and front-end React/Next or Vue/Nuxt stacks, he pairs pragmatic engineering with strong problem-solving and clear cross-functional communication. Experienced in AWS deployment patterns, Dockerized microservices, and legacy modernizations, he often bridges product discovery and incident investigation to deliver measurable outcomes like improved debt collection and data visibility. An avid coder and gamer, he brings a hands-on mindset to mentoring teammates and embedding quality into delivery pipelines.
