Top SchoolMichael Dewolf is a senior software engineer and engineering leader with 15+ years delivering web and IoT systems for startups, agencies, and enterprise clients from his base on the rocky coast of Maine. He blends hands-on expertise across Go, TypeScript/Node, React, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL/MongoDB and Linux with pragmatic architectural leadership, having scaled teams and products through hypergrowth (5M to 50M+ ARR) and built reusable CMS/ecommerce platforms for major brands. Equally invested in code and team dynamics, he mentors patiently, prioritizes empathy for users and stakeholders, and excels at translating ambiguous problems into reliable engineering outcomes. Currently building a top-secret IoT platform at Vontier after nearly two decades consulting and leading engineering orgs, he brings a rare combination of deep systems knowledge and people-first leadership.
