Top SchoolMichael Drennen is a Systems Architect with over a decade of experience designing web applications, databases, and internet marketing platforms from concept to production. Based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, he currently leads systems architecture at Deer Park Road Corp after a stint building and selling a proprietary internet marketing software suite as an entrepreneur. His background combines formal MIS and computer science training with hands-on project management and database architecture, enabling pragmatic solutions that align technical choices with business outcomes. As a former CIO, he brings executive-level oversight to infrastructure, governance, and cross-functional delivery. Colleagues value his blend of technical depth and marketing-savvy, which helps teams turn customer insights into measurable online growth. He often pairs lean startup instincts with enterprise-grade reliability, a less obvious strength that helps scale early prototypes into robust systems.
