Senior🎓
Top SchoolMichael Freeman is a seasoned B2B marketing leader and current Chief Marketing Officer with 12+ years of experience building resilient, cross-functional teams that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth. He has repeatedly scaled marketing-sourced pipeline (notably 85% at Airbase and 60% at Skilljar), repositioned products to better fit ICPs, and led analytics-driven moves from lead gen to account-based, campaign-first strategies. Comfortable wearing many hats, he blends strategic planning, financial modeling, and UX-minded experimentation with hands-on execution across martech stacks like SFDC, HubSpot, and 6sense. He favors pragmatic, human-centered marketing—treating prospects and customers as people rather than metrics—and insists on content and analysis over boilerplate outreach. A proven operator through multiple acquisitions and category wins, he also brings an uncommon focus on team happiness and sustainable processes as core drivers of performance.
